Sidari is situated in the northwestern part of Corfu, 32km from the center of the main town. It is a place which is on the itinerary of many visitors to the island, being one of the most popular resorts on the coast of the Ionian Sea. The village is situated in a hilly area, which has some amazing views and extends down to the sea to form some stunning beaches!

It is a popular location for young people and has all the necessary tourist amenities, from shopping and entertainment to public transportation services to other parts of the island, and organized tours.

The famous “Canal d 'Amour” is a popular tourist attraction. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, flanked by unusual large rock formations which extend into the sea, creating small inlets which can reached by small pathways and steps leading down to the water. Here there is a kind of natural canal with crystal clear waters. The beach takes its name from an old folk legend, which has it that couples who swim from one end to the other will stay in love with each other for ever.
